FAQ

What should we bring?

All of our cabins provide linens, towels and fully equipped kitchens, so you'll only need to bring all food/snacks, drinks and personal items; (body soap, shampoo, hair dryer, etc.) and grocery items; (paper towels, large plastic trash bags). A washer/dryer is provided. Please bring laundry detergent if you would need to wash. A grill is provided, but you’ll need charcoal and starter if you plan on using it. Essential recreational gear includes aqua-socks or sport sandals, sunglasses, suntan lotion, life vests as needed, diving/snorkeling gear, flashlights, walkie talkies and other equipment as needed for hikes. A cooler is recommended for refreshments outside or by the lake. We provide about 4 outside chairs, on hammock and two outside swings. Seating is provided for the outside patio table. Cool climate visitors should bring in fireplace wood and may consider propane for the outside gas radiant heater.

Coming from South:
Head North on I-35 N / US-81, merge onto US-183 North via EXIT 240B (This is Research Blvd., Proceed into Cedar Park and turn left (West) onto W Whitestone Blvd / FM 1431, continue to follow FM 1431, turn left (South) onto Lohman Ford Rd at the first set of stoplights in Lago Vista. Proceed past Boggy Ford Road and turn left onto Sylvester Ford Rd (look for the Arkansas Bend County Park sign on your right before this left turn). Sylvester Ford Rd becomes Cherry Ln., turn left onto Lakeview just before you enter Arkansas Bend Park. Lakeview ends at Sleepy Hollow Dr and our driveway entrance is at this corner. You jog about 10 feet to enter our driveway. Pull up to the gate. It swings away from your vehicle.

Coming from the North (Dallas):
Head South on I-35 N / US-81, Take the Lake Travis Exit (1431) to Lago Vista and follow the instructions above.

Coming from the East (Austin Airport or Houston):
Take Hwy 71 to 183 North (Research). Stay on 183 North to Cedar Park and follow the instructions above.

Coming from the Northwest:
Take 183 to Leander and Cedar Park and follow the instructions above.

Coming from the West or Southwest (Marble Falls):
Take 281 from Johnson City to Marble Falls and then 1431 from Marble Falls to Lago Vista. Follow the instructions above.

Making a Reservation:

To make a reservation call our office at 1-877-300-6995 ext 100.

One half of the rental fee plus a $25 reservation fee plus tax will be charged on the credit card provided at booking. The remaining balance will be charged approximately 45 days before check-in.

For reservations made within thiry (45) days of the arrival date, 100% prepayment is required.

The person booking the cabin must be at least 25 years old and must be either the person, or spouse of the person, whose name appears on the credit card provided.

Please note: Until we receive the credit card information, you do not have a reservation. Holidays and in-season weekends book up quickly.
